RAJASTHAN : JOURNEY THROUGH THE ROYAL PAST

Information:  A journey through the Royal Rajasthan. Rajasthan is the largest state of the Republic of India in terms of area and is part of West India. It encompasses most of the area of the large, inhospitable Great Indian Desert (Thar Desert), which has an edge paralleling the Sutlej-Indus river valley along its border with Pakistan. The region borders Pakistan to the west, Gujarat to the southwest, Madhya Pradesh to the southeast, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to the northeast and Punjab to the north. Rajasthan covers a vast area of 342,239 km.

DAY 01:  Arrive Jaipur
Arrive Jaipur by air/ train in the morning, full day sightseeing at City Palace, Amber, and other attractions. Night hault in Jaipur.

DAY 02: Jaipur-Bikaner
By road to Bikaner. Late afternoon, visit the camel-breeding farm. Night hault in Bikaner
 
DAY 03: Bikaner-Jaisalmer
Visit Bikaner's Junagarh Fort in the morning. After lunch, drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive & transfer  to hotel. Night hault in Jaisalmer

DAY 04: Jaisalmer
Spend an idyllic day in this romantic outpost, discovering the wonderful architecture of this  isolated city deep in the heart of the desert. Night hault in Jaisalmer

DAY 05: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur. Afternoon, tour its awesome Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada Memorial. Night  hault in Jodhpur

DAY 06: Jodhopur-Mount Abu
Drive to Mount Abu, visiting the Ranakpur temples en route. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Night  hault in Mount abu

DAY 07: Mount Abu
Relaxed day at Mount Abu, visiting its natural attractions and splendid temples, Night hault in Mount Abu

DAY 08: Mount Abu-Udaipur Drive to Udaipur, spending time at Kumbhalgarh Fort en route. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Night  hault in Udaipur

DAY 09: Udaipur
Discover the lake city with its splendid palaces, and visit temples. Also, a boat excursion on Lake Pichola. Night hault in Udaipur

DAY 10: End of tour
Transfer to Udaipur airport / railway station .Leave by flight/ air for home.
 

 Accommodation:

• Travel by Air-Conditioned  Tata Indica. Car at disposal for the entire duration of the tour for all sightseeings, & transfers.
• Accommodation in air-conditioned rooms at all locations with all taxes

• Meals during the entire duration of the trip.
