The Andaman Islands.
India's best-kept secret. Stunning beaches, aquamarine coral
lagoons, lush green rainforest, active volcanoes, swimming
elephants, and giant fish.
 Havelock
Island, in the Bay of Bengal, is about 3 hours north-east
of Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman Islands, which is easily
accessible by air or sea. Fly direct from Europe to Chennai or
Kolkata in India and then take one of the daily domestic flights
from these cities to Port Blair, with Indian Airlines and Jet
Airways (about 2 hrs). Our Barefoot boat will transfer you directly
from Port Blair to Beach no. 7 on Havelock Island.for an alternative
and more leisurely experience, ships are also available on fixed
schedules, to travel from Chennai and Kolkota to Port Blair. (2-3
days.) There is a daily ferry from Port Blair (3-4 hours) to
Havelock Island where we will meet you at the jetty (a 7 km
transfer) or if you prefer, you can rent a taxi,auto rickshaw or a
bicycle and make your own way to the resort.
  Havelock
Island (often just Havelock for short) with an area of some 92 km2
is the largest of the islands which comprise Ritchie's Archipelago.
They are chain of islands to the east of Great Andaman in the
Andaman Islands. Havelock is situated 57 km North East of Capital
City Port Blair.
The island is named after Henry Havelock, a British general active
in India. The island's current population is consists of Bengali
settlers.
It is one of the few places that the administration of the Andaman
and Nicobar Islands union territory of India has permitted and
encouraged development of tourism, with a focus on promoting
eco-tourism.
 Havelock
Island avoided much of the devastation which was visited upon most
of the shores affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and its
resultant tsunami, and there were no documented casualties.
Havelock is known for rich
marine life, especially the corals. [citation needed] it is easily
approachable by government boats which run daily from port blair
from a point locally known as marine jetty . the boat run daily at 6
am . prior booking can be done but the ships are big so one can
easily get tickets on the spot .the radha nagar beach is big and
beautiful and is about 10 kms from boat point |

DAY 1: ARRIVE TO PORT BLAIR |
|
On arrive at Port Blair, our representative receive you at Airport /Harbour
and escorted you to check in to the Hotel / Resort. After check-in
at the hotel and little relax, we start the journey with
Anthropological Museum, which displays the tools, models habitats,
art and handcrafts of the aboriginal tribes of Andaman & Nicobar
Islands. cellular Jail, Fisheries Museum, Science Centre And then
proceed to Corbyn's Cove beach. At evening, the Light and Sound Show
at Cellular Jail where the saga of the freedom struggle brought
alive. |

Day 2: PORT BLAIR – ROSS ISLAND – NORTH BAY
ISLAND (Coral Island) – HARBOUR CRUISE (Viper Island) |
|
After Breakfast., We will proceed for a full day cruising towards,
Ross Island, Viper Island and North Bay (Coral Island). First we
starts with an exhilarating journey (by boat) to Ross Island (Ross
Island, the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British
regime), From Ross Island, we proceed for a joyful trip to Northway
island (Coral Island) offering exotic coral, colorful fishes and
underwater marine life. We can view these colorful corals &
underwater marine life via in glass bottom boat and snorkeling. At
evening proceed for a cruise of harbour by a boat includes a trip to
Viper, the place of execution and overnight stay at Port Blair. |

DAY 3: PORT BLAIR – HAVELOCK ISLAND |
|
Today, we start journey towards Havelock island via ferry from Port
Blair. On arrival at Havelock Island, our representative will
receive and escort you to check-in to the resort. After relaxation
trip to Kalapathar Beach. Over night stay at Havelock. |

DAY 4: HAVELOCK ISLANDS—PORT BLAIR
|
|
After breakfast, we proceed to Radhanagar Beach, which rated the #7
among the finest beach in Asia. It is an ideal place for swimming,
sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach. After noon we
proceed back towards Port Blair (via ferry) and overnight stay at
Port Blair. |

DAY 5: PORT BLAIR – RED SKIN/JOLLY BUOY/
MAWA DERA – PORT BLAIR |
|
At early morning (0800hrs) proceed for full day trip to Jolly Buoy/
Mawa Dera island, is a part of Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park,
Wandoor has a nice beach and offers spectacular view of corals,
fishes and marine life. An island in Mahatma Gandhi Marine National
Park, it offers a breath taking underwater view of coral and marine
life. It is an ideal place for snorkeling, sea bathing and basking
on the sun kissed beach. |

Day 6: DEPART PORT BLAIR – AIRPORT DROPPING |
|
Drop to Airport. Fly back with ever lasting
memories of these emerald Islands. |
