In Sanskrit, the name, derived from the world 'Durjay Ling', means 'Siva of invincible prowess, who rules the Himalayas'. The official name of the town is Darjeeling.

DAY 01:
NJP RAILWAY STATION / IXB (BAGDOGRA AIRPORT) - DARJEELING
Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Darjeeling (7100ft / 110 kms / 03 hrs). Arrives & Check in Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Over night stay at Hotel

DAY 02:
DARJEELING
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around at 4am) to morning view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather), on your way back visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery. After Breakfast city tour of Darjeeling visit Padmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, (Closed on Thursday), Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock & Tibetan Refugee Self – Help Center (Closed on Sunday). After lunch visit White Pagoda, Lalkothi (D.G.H.C.Assembly not allowed inside), Ava Art Gallery, Dhirdham Temples & Natural History Museum. Over night at Hotel

DAY 03:
DARJEELING- GANGTOK
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5500 ft / 115 kms / 4½ hrs). Evening free on leisure. Over night at hotel.

DAY 04:
NATHULA
Morning take an excursion to Nathula (14000 ft),Tsangu Lake & Baba Mandir (12400ft. / 54kms / 03 hrs one way). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight at Hotel

DAY 05:
GANGTOK
After breakfast transfer to local sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls, Ranka Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Nam Nang View point & Flower Show. Over night at hotel.

DAY 06:
GANGTOK – KALIMPONG
After breakfast, transfer to Kalimpong (4000ft / 79kms / 03 hrs). Here you do the sightseeing of Deolo Hills, Dr. Grahams Home, Flower Nurseries,Jang-Dog- Palrifro-Brang Gompa, Mangal Dham & Durbin Dara Hills. Over night at Hotel

DAY 07:
KALIMPONG-NJP RAILWAY STATION / IXB AIRPORT
After breakfast, transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (90kms / 03 hrs) for your onward Journey.

1). While going into Pasupati Nagar the clients require an ID card stating Indian Citizenship.
2). Local sightseeing in Gangtok and the trip to Nathula will be in separate Sikkimese vehicles
