 Nestling
in the grandeur and beauty of towering snow-capped mountains; with
the mighty Kanchenjunga (King of the Mountains) dominating the
somber, snowy sentinels, lies a jewel of a town -- elegant,
sophisticated and incredibly beautiful; the name of Tibetan origin
means where Indra's thunderbolt or scepter rested, (Dodi-thunder
bolt, Ling-place). In Sanskrit, the name, derived from the world 'Durjay
Ling', means 'Siva of invincible prowess, who rules the Himalayas'.
The official name of the town is Darjeeling.
DAY 01:
Pick-Up from Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
DAY 02:
Darjeeling sight seeing Half Day:- 9:00 AM i.e
1. HMI,
2. Zoo,
3. Ropeway,
4. Tenzing Rock ,
5. Tea Garden,
6. Tibetian Refuge Self-Help Center,
7. Japanese Temple,
8. St. Paul's School (OUTSIDE VIEW).
After noon FREE DAY.
DAY 03:
Morning 4 AM Tiger-hill For Sunrise , Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. After Breakfast 9:00 AM :- Visit Rock Garden & Gangamaya Park. Afternoon FREE DAY.
DAY 04:
Darjeeling to Mirik (TO & FRO) Via Pashupati Market(Nepal Border) &
Jorepokhari.
DAY 05:
Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.. |
